North Carolina State Information
From NOAA's National Weather Service. Loads of detailed climate and weather data, records, storm alerts and the technical stuff forecasters read. All 50 states represented. They also have a 6-hour radar loop (map) for the entire U.S. To get to the state data, choose Text Messages--By State and then (oddly) pick graphical for any state.

Climatic data for Asheville including current month's daily readings. 

Greenville-Spartanburg Weather Forecast Office
A broader area. Not only Greenville-Spartanburg, but most of WNC. Click on a county for the zone forecast. 

Climatic data for sites in WNC and Southeast
SERCC (Southeast Regional Climate Center) includes regional data, by day, for the period of record. Useful for averages of temperature, rainfall and snowfall, among other things.

State Climate Office of North Carolina
The State Climate Office is a source of weather and climate data for the entire state. 

National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) 
The National Climatic Data Center is in Asheville. They have the largest collection of worldwide weather and climate data in the U.S. (and possibly in the world).
