THE WAR OF THE WORLDS Scholarship fundraiser Thu, Oct 30 @ 7:30 pm Fine and Performing Arts Center
On Oct. 30, 1938, a radio broadcast of The War of The Worlds by Orson Wells caused a panic among the listeners of the Columbia Broadcasting System who were convinced that Earth was under invasion by aliens from Mars. On the 70th Anniversary of the original broadcast, WCU faculty and staff collaborate to present an historically-accurate re-creation of Wells radio production.
All seats $5
